Windmill Festival – 2018, India’ First Children’s International Festival is back with its third edition to Mumbai
The much-awaited event will take place in a two-day long weekend festival hosted on November 17 & 18, at the Reliance Jio Garden at Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai.
The festival is a joint initiative of Event Capital and Tribe Asia. It aspires to offer several outdoor activities curated to make it a unique experience for the entire family. It offers an array of over 50+ different workshops catering to arts and crafts, robotics, dramatics, sports, and music which are the highlights at the festival.
Besides the bevy of activities, a petting zoo hosting 15 plus farm animals, a colorful flea market, and food stalls adds to delight the child in you.
The most loved and popular kid’s icon Rob of the M.A.D. fame will also be conducting special DIY workshops at the festival and popular child artist Akshat Singh will be performing a stand-up act.
The key objective of the Windmill Festival is to give the urban child an outlet to be creative, gain information and get a recreational experience along with an avenue to spend quality time with their parents and friends in an outdoor setting.
Considering kids around the world have their own special festivals in their cities to celebrate a family day together in the outdoor, the Windmill Festival brings that unique bonding experience every year for the urban families of Mumbai.
Garima, mother of 11-year-old Aashray said, “We are excited about revisiting the festival which impressed us with the fun, recreation and education the outdoor activities offered in this one huge festival. The vibrancy and enthusiasm of all present left a lasting impression and we are sure we not going to miss the new season. Infact, my son has already earmarked the dates and invited a few of his friends to join him over the weekend.”
