20181227_234449.jpgMumbai’s party circuit gets even more roaring with the launch of the popular beer brand Simba which made its presence official in a glitzy event yesterday.  Simba is India’s first indigenous craft beer which launches itself to the Mumbai lifestylers, after a success run across other states of the country.

It was also recently in the news for its association with the blockbuster hit film SIMMBA, which only made the brand get much needed boost to support the launch.

Simba, founded in 2016 is under the aegis of Prabhtej Singh Bhatia who is a third generation entrepreneur.  Simba is the first homegrown, family-run craft beer brand in India by the company Simba Brewery, introduced by those who take their beer very seriously.

In the span of three years, the brand has expanded to the popular destinations like Goa and Delhi -NCR Banglore and now Mumbai.

Unlike several other beer companies, they make their own beer at their flagship brewery in Durg in Chhatisgarh and instead of producing beer in bulk, they prefer to make the beer in small batches giving enough attention and focus to the recipe of each beer.  This process also allows them to keep a better control over the quality of the drink without compromising on the taste.

With a state of the art brewery in Durg, Chhatisgarh in Central India, Simba aims to become the number one craft beer brand in the years to come.

Simba is the result of rigorous research on the supreme quality beer, they undergo a difficult process of using the fresh water from a nearby river rather than using underground water which is usually used by other beer companies. They have spent months scouting for the finest malts and hops, creating experimental batches to perfect the flavor and throw out all conventional wisdom.  The brand also uses real orange peel from the farms in Europe to get the rich flavours in SIMBA Wit.

In the words of Prabhtej Singh Bhatia, Founder at Simba Craft Beers, “Simba was launched with an intent to offer an unparalleled experience of craft beers to the patrons of the industry. I was always passionate about beers and wanted to create a brand which would not only satiate the taste buds of the beer drinking population of the country but will also create an opportunity for the beer industry as a whole”.

Simba is currently experimenting with several different styles of craft beers at the brewery and in the next 12-24 months, it will emerge to be a pioneer in the segment of the craft beer.
