We talking about our visit to the most exciting gaming zone in Mumbai – #TheGameMumbai.

Jeehan and me were invited for a select media gathering which was hosted at #TheGameMumbai recently where we got to indulge in a host of fun and adventure activities.

The place has been abuzz with rant review since it opened its door to the public in September 2018, and we were pretty eager to experience it for ourselves.  Luckily the late afternoon meet  had us zipping over the Bandra-Worli sea face bridge and in no time, just under an hour, we had arrived at the front of the Atria Mall in Worli where #TheGame is located.

As we stepped into the area which is located on level 3 of the mall, we were greeted by the team headed by Shriyam Chaturvedi, Head of Sales & Marketing with the company Chiliad Procons the company behind The Game, she welcome us with some F&B offerings and a quick tour of the centre. Spread across 18,000 sq ft of area, #TheGameMumbai has everything going for it, with over 40 plus arcade games, it also boasts of an some amazing fun activities like the Human Gyro, Magic Bowling lanes, Cricket, Bungee Soccer and the Air Walk all under one roof.

Parents today seek an avenue where they can enjoy a quick getaway for sharing some quality time together with their family and children especially – someplace which allows physical activities rather than passive entertainment. That’s how The Game works best for these patrons and we currently have the who’s who of the city repeating their visit to our premise,” said Shriyam Chaturvedi.

Our tour ended at the ‘Air Walk‘ one of their most experiential activity in the Centre.  I guess it has to be their star too and clearly reinstates our belief in the gaming zone being truly one-of-a-kind.

As my 10-year-old Jeehan strapped himself to experience the activity, I looked on proudly.  The Dare Devil Ramp is an adventure based activity set on a suspended bridge which of course requires you to be neatly tucked in a safety harness and has a net below the swinging bridge to cushion the fall in case one misses as step, but as fearsome as it may seem, my 10-year-old #Jeehan slowly overcame the various levels finally victorious of his fear of height as climbed up the platform at the end of the ropeway, with a loud cheer.

This experience only had us craving for more, however, the press meet had begun with the young team members of the company – Chiliad Procons in attendance.

The brand is recognised for introducing the first snow park in Mumbai ‘SNOW WORLD’ which is located at the RCity Mall and the Phoenix MarketCity Kurla in Mumbai.  With its foray in the world of providing active leisure and entertainment, the company now has aspirations in setting some extraordinary ventures to give this industry the much needed boost of life.

I understand that it all began when the founder and Managing Director, Prasuk Jain along with  co-founder and the Director of Business Development, Priyanka Jain felt the need for offering the leisure and entertainment industry the much needed boost of life.

The company has signed a francisee agreement with DQ Entertainment creators of children’s TV animation Jungle Book to set up a theme park of international standards here in Mumbai.

Besides this, they also in talks with the international experts for setting up a Sea World based on the international formats of Dolphin parks.  The focus will be towards ensuring maintaining the same standard of experiences but in a cost effective manner so that it can be experienced by the locals and tourists of the city.

“Most of have experienced these international theme parks and leisure activities during our trips abroad.  Hence, we decided to offer the same experiences to the locals and tourists of this mega city”, says Prasuk Jain “Chiliad Procons is working actively with the best of the international names in bringing these experiences to the city.  Besides this we also setting up the hospitality wing to further assist our working in the service industry – which goes hand in hand in offering a wholesome experience for our patrons,”, he concluded.

Priyanka Jain co-founder and Head of Marketing & Business Development said, ‘The company has two snow parks in Mumbai and one in Delhi. We now aspiring to make our mark in the hospitality industry with the announcement of our forthcoming project Baraanaa which is launching by the Feb-March 2019″, she said.

Chef Rahul Kulkarni who is heading the Hospitality division has also curated a special menu for food lover, to reinstate their presence in both hospitality and entertainment. “The menu has been specially curated to suit the palate of all age groups. For a gaming arcade like The Game, we have focused on comfort food choices to compliment the thrilling experience of gaming while making sure that the hunger pangs are satiated after a good run around the centre.” he said.

With so much to offer, it’s no wonder it has become the destination to be for even the newsmakers of this city from business head honchos to Bollywood’s who’s who visiting the premise for a quick getaway.   The Game has some dynamic plans to venture into theme parks and VR gaming zones besides the hospitality venture coming up soon.
