With several Guinness World Records to its credit, the iconic brand LEGO® popular with  kids and adults alike hosted yet another World record attempt in the popular and buzzing mall at Seawoods Grand Central Mall at Navi Mumbai.

In the past it has set up the largest LEGO Ship, Sundial, Replicas of Iconic Structures from Around the world.  

#MommyWorld was invited to witness the world record attempt for The Most Carriages in a Toy Train which was in collaboration with the Nexus Mall as a part of its ongoing Christmas celebrations.

LEGO has always aspired to keep the tradition of creating  innovative experiential structures highlighting the brands focus  in innovation and creativity besides being a great child-parent bonding activity,” said Rohan  Mathur, Head Marketing, LEGO toys.

lego12The unique train  designed by one of LEGO’s ardent fan John Seeman from Bangalore, reinstates LEGO’s brand creativity and also share the child-parent bonding.

The feat was achieved by The LEGO Group (Singapore), K K Cariapa, John Seemon, Nexus Malls (all Indians) at Seawoods Grand Central Mall, Navi Mumbai yesterday.

69 carriage tugged to the LEGO toy train by a single locomotive chugged across 35 feet at the buzzing Seawoods Grand Central Mall.

Present at the occasion was John Seemon, an ardent adult fan of LEGO who has been collecting LEGO for past 23 years now owns 4 lakh pieces as on date. He along with KK Cariapa together worked on putting this award winning toy train carriages together.

Guinness World Records® officials, who were present at the mall, confirmed the achievement and  awarded the Guinness World Records® certificate for ‘Most Carriages in a Toy Train’ category to K K Cariapa, John Seemon & Mr. Nishank Joshi.

Nishank Joshi, Chief Marketing Officer Nexus Malls along with Rohan Mathur, Head Marketing, Asia for LEGO were also present at the event

The LEGO city installation is on display at the Seawood Grand Central Mall until January 13, 2019.
