The 9-Day festival is currently hosted by Runwal Elegante, a project endeavour by Runwal Group in association with Kala Ghoda Association.

Hindustan Times Kala Ghoda Arts Festival is the country’s largest multicultural festival, which takes place in February each year since 1999.    For the 1st time, this popular Art Festival has moved further into the popular locales associating with another architectural marvel in the western suburbs at Runwal Elegante, Lokhandwala, Andheri.

A must visit, this Art festival has garnered equal fervour among the locale and visitors who throng the festival from all corners of the city and outstation to enjoy the eclectic mix of arts, music and culture exchange.  The on-going festival includes over 20 Art installations, an Art Gallery displaying works of popular artists around the country which include M F Hussain, Raza, Vaikunth, Suhas Roy,  Laxma Goud, Achyut Palav, Shreehari Bhosale, Jaya Lamba, Prerna Kewalramani, Shola Carletti, S K Tayde, Shreekant Patil and other popular artists… There are various art workshops for the children, Live Band, and performances at the venue.

The finale weekend will feature an interesting mix of live performances and guest artists.   Besides all things artistic, there is the regular flea bazar which makes the aesthetic location a fun weekend for the entire family at the festival.

About Kala Ghoda Festival: The Festival is organized by the Kala Ghoda Association (a non-profit organization which aspires to promote arts and culture in Mumbai). The festival sections are visual arts, dance, music, literature including children’s literature as a subsection, workshops, urban design and architecture, food, a dedicated section for children, and a vibrant street section including stalls selling eco-friendly, handmade arts and crafts wares.

Entry to all events is free to all (only restricted by the size of the venues)
